Kyoto

Having fun in Kyoto so far in spite of monetary woes. As a preview of the post to come, we met some random young people here last night and got drunk with them at a cheap izakaya, and they invited us to go play wii games with them later tonight. So I'm soon off to do that.

  1. Travis get some $ from Collin if you need it and sounds like you do. I told him to give you some if you need it. It was so sweet that you were thinking about buying me a present but your blog has been the best present ever. What you and Collin have been writing has enabled me to be right in the middle of your adventures and it has been incredible - the best gift ever. We have studying, jobs, school etc to worry about later. Right now you are in JAPAN. You do know how I love to boss around my boys :)

  2. I will survive just fine, but thanks a lot for the offer. I had to turn on responsible mode for a little while here at the end, but I hope to be a responsible person one day so it`s good practice =)

I am really glad you are enjoying the blog. I am also using less contractions because it is hard to do on a Japanese keyboard and I am not sure whether it will show up properly for you. Anyways Collin bought me dinner last night which was really nice and like I said, for one thing I do not want more debt and for another I can survive, so because of the conjunction of those two things I will just be a little frugal here. I think for the next couple of days I will be studying as Collin and Garrett left me all alone here in the ghetto of Tokyo and I cannot afford to do much more sight-seeing if I want to not be actually completely homeless in San Francisco (although I might do that for fun anyway; I have not decided). I am looking forward to seeing you again, and I am sure I will have something, however small, to give you from Japan.
